These terms are an agreement between you and Beyond the Grove LLC ("Beyond the Grove", "we", "us"), the maker of YipYappy. They apply when you use the YipYappy app for iPhone and iPad and yipyappy.com. By using YipYappy you agree to them. If you are under 18, please use YipYappy with a parent or guardian's permission.
Using YipYappy
We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app to make clips for your own personal and social media use, in line with these terms, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Your content
You own the clips, scripts, photos, audio and characters you create or add. We do not receive them, because they stay on your device unless you share them. You are responsible for what you create and share, and for having the rights to any photos, audio, music or other material you use.
Our characters and artwork
The YipYappy name and logo, and the characters, scenes, frames and looks in the app, belong to Beyond the Grove LLC or to the artists and brands who license them to us. You may use them in the clips you make with YipYappy. You may not extract, resell or redistribute the artwork itself, or use it to suggest an endorsement.
Built-in music
The background music in the app is original music made for YipYappy. You may use it in the clips you make with YipYappy, including when you share or post them, even on monetized channels. You may not extract, sell or distribute the music on its own.
Be kind
Do not use YipYappy to make or share content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or misleading, that impersonates a real person without their permission, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Third-party services
Optional features such as ElevenLabs voices (with your own account) and Apple's Image Playground are provided by those companies under their own terms. Sharing a clip to another app is subject to that app's terms.
No warranty
YipYappy is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section takes away protections you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. We will post the new version here and update the effective date. Continuing to use YipYappy means you accept the updated terms.
